James Lombard

Jim Lombard started a chapter of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity at Fairfield University in Connecticut. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1965, and then earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1968, also from Fairfield University. Mr. Lombard then served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. In 1976, he earned a MBA from California State University, Los Angeles. He currently holds active real estate brokerage licenses in Florida and California.

Mr. Lombard established America’s first all-suite hotel, called Homequarters, in Hartford, Connecticut. He owned and operated thirteen real estate offices throughout southern New England and three in Florida. He is the president, owner and founder of Florida West Gold.

He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, a national accounting honors fraternity, as well as multiple realtor associations, including Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR). He assists with alumni fundraising for California State University, Los Angeles, and has previously served on multiple boards. He also served as the Assistant Dean of Kenyon College in Ohio from 1969 through 1972.

Mr. Lombard resides in Tampa, Florida. His hobbies include skiing, racing sailboats, sports cars, reading, history and travel.
