G.O.L.D. Council Members
Pennsylvania Iota – 2013
Brendon Albert was initiated into Phi Kappa Theta during the spring of 2009 at Temple University. Brendon graduated with a degree in Sport and Relational Management in 2013 from Temple University. During his time as a collegiate member, Brendon served successfully as Chapter Recruitment Chairman, Vice President of Fraternal, Vice President of Spiritual and served as the UGAC representative for the Northeast Providence.
Prior to joining Phi Kappa Theta’s staff from 2015-2017, Brendon worked as a football operations assistant at IMG Academy. While at IMG, Brendon worked with football athletes ranging from middle school to NFL level under the direction of former Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke.
Brendon currently works at Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) as Head Football Recruiting Coach. He married his wife Pam in 2018. They currently live in Indianapolis, IN.
San Diego State University
California Phi Iota – 2012
Cody Barbo is an entrepreneur and two-time founder from San Diego, CA. Cody currently serves as Founder/CEO of Trust & Will, the easy, fast and secure way to set up your estate plan online. He also served as CEO at his last company, Industry, a ‘LinkedIn’ for the service and hospitality industry.
Cody is also the former CEO of Associated Students, a $30M non-profit in San Diego.
Cody also serves on the San Diego State University Alumni Board of Advisors.
University of Georgia
Georgia Delta Rho – 2013
Carter was initiated into Phi Kappa Theta at the University of Georgia in the Spring of 2009. He served as Risk Manager and President during his tenure, along with several other positions. He was also the Undergraduate Advisory Council Representative for the Southeast Region, and its Chairman, from 2011 to 2013.
Carter has attended every annual event held by the National Fraternity since his first visit in 2011. Outside of Fraternity life in college, he enjoy’s swimming and worked as a lifeguard at the University’s aquatic center. He was also a member of the Redcoat Drumline.
Today, he works in Alpharetta, GA maintaining a human capital management system called Workday, and lives in Doraville, GA with his wife, Nona, and their three dogs, Ahri, a Carolina mix, Odie, a blue heeler, and Lou, a plott hound.
Doraville, a city with a mere 10,500 population, is straddled across the perimeter (I-285) of Atlanta and is home to an incredibly diverse group of people; it runs along Buford Highway, famous for its rich culture and variety of foodie joints.
University of South Dakota
South Dakota Alpha Xi – 2018
Wyatt Hansen graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2018 with a BFA in Theatere. He currently works for Erickson Solutions Group as a Remote Service Desk Technician.
Brother Hansen has spent time the last few years volunteering through the chapter and various community groups. He enjoys computer restoration, cooking and disc golf.
He served as Chapter President from fall 2017 to fall 2018 and has had opportunities with the BBLA's and National Conferences. It's improved his collegiate experience in ways he never would have thought.
Eastern Illinois University
Illinois Alpha Omega – 2017
Allen Potter graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2017 with a BS in Biological Sciences and a MS in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
He currently resides in Coal City, IL.
Indiana Alpha Gamma – 2017
Devin Wolf graduated from Trine University in 2017 with a B.S. in Engineering Technology. He currently works at Metal Technologies Incorporated as a Process Engineer.
He enjoys physical activity in sports and extra curriculars. In his free time he enjoys woodworking and helping others.
