ABOUT THE PROJECT (2021-2022)

Every Phi Kap has a story, and Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity wants to hear yours. However, with over 20,000 living alumni, it would take many years to meet with each Phi Kap individually.

That’s why we’re embarking on a Phi Kap History Project to collect alumni stories in their own words*. These stories will be preserved in a book that celebrates the impact Phi Kappa Theta has had on our lives and who we are today.

*To submit your Phi Kap story or to update your information, please call the number listed on the postcard or email you received or call our partner, PCI at 1-800-982-1590.

What story will you share?

  • Can you trace your career back to a defining moment with Phi Kap?

  • Have your chapter connections turned into lifelong friendships?

  • Were you an active member during a historical moment?

  • Did a Phi Kap Brother have a significant impact on your life?

PCI Partnership

With our limited resources, we’d never be able to tackle a project like this. By partnering with PCI, we can access their trained staff of real, live human beings who are excited to listen to what you have to share. PCI will also help collect and assemble the stories into a book that we can share with all Phi Kappa Theta Brothers. Please note that we have shared your contact information with PCI only for use in conjunction with this project. We have NOT sold your contact information or otherwise used it for outside marketing purposes.

Do I Have To Make a Purchase/Donation?

No. This project is being done at no cost to all Phi Kappa Theta Alumni. The project is completely funded by the alumni who choose to purchase the final book that will be produced at the end of the project. Various book packages will be offered, as well as other Phi Kappa Theta branded merchandise such as polo or hats. You are welcome to purchase these items, but you are not required to do so to participate in the project or order the book. Again, we’d never be able to embark on a project like this without the support of our amazing alumni and the partnership with PCI. We sincerely thank every Phi Kap Brother who participates and chooses to purchase the book.

What’s Next?

Alumni will receive emails and postcard communications from the PCI team with instructions on how to participate. We’d like to invite you to share one of your stories with us, send us a photo, and take part in this first-of-its-kind project to honor the experiences and voices of our alumni. The PCI team will collect stories until February 22, 2022. After that, PCI will enter a post-production phase editing the data. We hope to have the book distributed in the spring of 2022. We look forward to hearing from each and every one of you regarding your memories!
