FIRE: Foundation for Individual Rights in Education

The mission of FIRE is to defend and sustain individual rights at America’s colleges and universities. These rights include freedom of speech, legal equality, due process, religious liberty, and sanctity of conscience — the essential qualities of individual liberty and dignity. FIRE’s core mission is to protect the unprotected and to educate the public and communities of concerned Americans about the threats to these rights on our campuses and about the means to preserve them. Visit the FIRE website to learn more.

The Capital Fraternity Caucus

The Capital Fraternal Caucus works to ensure the future of fraternities and sororities by advocating in Washington, DC on behalf of the Greek community.  The current focus for the CFC is the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act (CHIA).  If passed, Phi Kappa Theta’s Foundation will be capable of making housing and infrastructure grants to the Fraternity and housing corporations with (501(c.)(2) or 501(c.)(7) status that provide not-for-profit housing to college students. Visit the CFC website to learn more about the Capital Fraternal Caucus and the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act (CHIA).
